Step 1 - iBroker Extractor.
- Click on the iBroker Extractor Icon on the Desktop (Grey icon).
- Every day run the "Daily Movements" option.
- Select "Daily Movements" from the drop down box.
- No parameters are required.
- Click on the "Extract Now" button to run.
- When setting up a new Client run the "Client History Load" option. Ensure that the Daily Movements is run for the day
before running the Client History Load. Take a note of the Last Update Date after the run as you will need this information.
- Select "Client History Load" from the drop down box.
- Enter the Broker Client Number.
- Enter the "Date from". Use the Datepicker to select the date or type it is manually. If you type it in manually, please
ensure that you enter the year fully (eg 2003, not 03).
- Enter the "Date to". Ensure that the "Date to" field is the same as the Last Update Date and ensure that the year is
entered fully (eg 2003, not 03).
- Click on the "Extract Now" button to run.
- Note the number of records extracted at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2 - Optional Verify.
- Click on the m2IRawInput Icon on the Desktop (Yellow icon).
- Look at the latest batch and determine if there have been any rejections.
- Take a note of them as they will need to be entered manually. (We are creating functionality which will print the details out in the future).
Step 3 - Submission and Release.
- Click on the m2Controller Icon on the Desktop (Green icon).
- Click on System Admin.
- Click on Services.
- Ensure that all Services are started (except Extractor). If not, start them by clicking on the Service Name on the left and then click on "Launch".
- Then click on Refresh to check. They should all say Go.
- Click on the Interfaces tab.
- Click on "Awaiting Release".
- Click on "Select All".
- Click on "Release". Note any that go into the Error queue. Click on the Error Queue. Click on the Movement in error and then click on Open. Copy the details by selecting them using the mouse and then click on the right mouse button and click on copy. Then paste the details into an email message and send to me please.
Step 4 - Check.
- Wait for a few minutes, especially if there are a lot of messages released. Click on the m2CRM Icon on the Desktop (Blue icon).
- Click on the Client for whom you are loading Movements.
- Click on Movements and then click on Go.
- Ensure that the Movements are there.
- Go into Holdings and check out positions.
- Periodically reconcile and enter any movements manually that are missing through failure.
Step 5 - Backup the Database.
- Click on the Backup icon on the Desktop.
